about

This piece plays chameleon, changing colour depending on the homeland of the performer. From tablas in the Indus valley to Persian târ, from the Anatolian saz to the brass of ethio-jazz, it scrolls by like a soundscape, bathed by Aïda’s vocals in “spiritual jazz” mode.
